Yellow Submarine is a song from the album Revolver. It was written by Paul McCartney and sung by Ringo Starr (who, it would seem, sang most of the "whimsical" songs written by the Beatles). Though its imagery seems to be a perfect description of an acid trip, "Yellow Submarine" was written exclusively as a children's song.
